SPICY EDAMAME WITH SRIRACHA SOY SAUCE

Edamame is most commonly known as an appetizer at sushi restaurants. They are usually served steamed and lightly salted. That’s pretty simple and basic. Yet, they are addicting. They are fun to eat, and they are a good source of protein. So, now imagine that with a delicious spicy sauce coating each pod of edamame. How amazing does that sound? You won’t be able to stop till you’ve eaten every single pod. My sauce is pretty simple: Sriracha and Soy Sauce. Sriracha is full of flavor. It’s a little taste of garlic, slight sweetness, and a whole lot of spicy! They are a healthy snack or appetizer that will be ready in no time.

Ingredients:

  • 16 Ounces Steamed Edamame

  • 2 Tablespoons Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce

  • Garnish: Toasted Sesame Seeds

Directions:

  1. Steam the edamame according to your package’s directions.

  2. Add the warm steamed edamame, hot chili sauce, and soy sauce to a medium-sized bowl.

  3. Mix or toss together to combine ingredients.

  4. Sprinkle with Toasted Sesame Seeds. Serve warm or at room temperature.

*NOTE: You can use more or less hot sauce according to your preference.
