Well, here's a liitle something scrumptious! This has to be one of my top 5 desserts! You won't be able to get enough! Plus, everyone will love it! I love chocolate... and that's an understatement! I also enjoy love desserts that I can indulge in without even feeling an ounce of guilt. This dessert is a chocolate pudding topped with Oreos, followed with a layer of chocolate mousse. It's a chocolate cookies & cream heaven if you ask me! Way too many calories.. but you will not feel guilty eating it. It feels very fluffy and light. It's dangerous!
Just look at all those layers of cream and cookie crumbles. How could you not want to grab a spoon? I know I couldn't help but grab a spoon when confronted with these little triffles.
2 5.9oz boxes chocolate pudding jello mix
5 cups whole milk, separated
16oz cool whip
20 pieces of oreo
cookies and cream or desired sprinkles
In a large bowl, mix 1 box pudding mix with 3 cups of milk till smooth. Let sit for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, crush the oreos (not too fine). I used a food processor and just pulsed it a couple of times.
Layer in cups, first the pudding then the crushed oreos.
In the now empty large bowl, place second box of pudding mix and 2 cups of milk. Again, mix well till smooth.
Fold in the cool whip and mix well till full blended and fluffy.
Add a layer of this mix into the cups.
Top with cookies and cream or desired sprinkles and a whole oreo. Refrigerate for a few hours before serving. Then, ENJOY!
